AskOps.

A small practice, built around evidence

AskOps exists because two kinds of organisations have the same problem: they know what is wrong — a statement, a dashboard, a report says so — and the fixing never quite happens. We do the fixing.

What we do

Accessibility remediation for UK public bodies. We take the WCAG 2.2 failures a body has already published in its accessibility statement, find every instance across the estate, fix them by whatever route the platform allows, and hand back a signed before-and-after retest. Our approach in full.

Operational reporting and data tooling for multi-site businesses. Daily trading reports, customer-satisfaction analysis, operational dashboards — built quickly, verified carefully, and designed to be read by the people who run the sites, not by analysts.

The common thread is the working method: exhaustive automated coverage — including AI-assisted tooling — with every result verified by a person before it is acted on, and a deliverable someone puts their name to.

How we work

  • Plain English. Scopes, findings and retests are written to be understood on first reading, without a glossary.
  • Fixed scope, fixed fee. Agreed in writing before work starts, including what is explicitly out of scope. Cost-effective is a design goal, not a claim.
  • Evidence over assertion. Every claim in our deliverables traces to something you can check — a URL, an element, a before-and-after pair.
  • Honesty about tooling. We say what was automated and what was checked by hand. Nothing is signed unseen.

Contact

Email is fastest, and a first conversation costs nothing. If you have received a note from us about your website, it is a response to your organisation's own published accessibility statement — and we are happy to share what we found, free, whether or not you take things further.
